Day 4: Made To Last Forever

"Today (this life) is just the tip of the iceberg".

I really like today's reading.
Partly because there was a reference to the Chronicles of Narnia.. hehe :D

Well.. what do I think of ourselves - our bodies just being temporary residences of our spirit? Pretty cool :] We don't ever die - our bodies decease, however, there IS an afterlife. The thing is, where will people spend their eternity? Forever with God in Heaven? Or forever seperated from God in the fires of hell?

I, for one, definitely don't want to go to hell. But that's not the main reason I chose to follow God. I think one of the reasons is that... He's really the only father I have. Though my father in this life may be my biological father, I don't really have a real father - except Jesus Christ - the One who truly accepts how I was made and cares for me beyond words.

"For us this is the end of all the stories.... But for them it was only the beginning of the real story. All their life in this world ... had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story, which no one on earth has read, which goes on froever and in which every chapter is better than the one before".

I might have a problem with trying to live each day is if it were my last.
Jesus could come any day - He could have planned my death on any day, too.
But we never know : Which is why there are so many more valuable things than just looks and money [maplestory .__.] and stuff.
