Delayed Response #1

I'm numbering these kinds of posts because I'm prepared to have multiple similar ones in the near future.

Something which I would like to speak up about is your proposed knowledge of God.  Indeed, we do come from the same faith and we do believe in the same God.  Our denominations may have different traditions, customs, practices, and rituals, but the root beliefs are still the same - that God wants to be intimately involved with every one of us, that Jesus loves us immensely that he died for us, that God loves us immensely to give up His son for us, and that our goals as Christians is to receive the love of God, love Him back, and have this love overflow to this rest of the world.

Thus, on what grounds are you able to make statements such as, "I'm pretty sure God is never lonely and he has enough people on this Earth to be in a relationship with."?  Granted, you're not incorrect - God is never lonely and he definitely has enough people on Earth to 'talk' with.  However, what you're ignorant about is the Bible and pretending that you know all about God even though you are clueless about the physical words he left behind.  Because you have no knowledge of The Word, you would not know that God loves all of us as if there is only one of us and that God wants to be in relationships with all of us as if there is only one of us.

You think that prayer is only a time to ask God for things - you are eternally mistaken, my dear friend.  You have not even read the Bible - what gives you the right to believe you are correct about such things?  Prayer is simply conversation with God, and while prayer is a time to petition to God with our requests, it's not the only thing prayer is for.

So what gives you the right to assume?  And on what grounds do you think you can make up whatever you want about a religion that you refuse to gain more knowledge on?  While I am not Jewish or Buddhist or Muslim or anything - I do not make assumptions about their religions.  While I'm sure I'd disagree with their core beliefs, I don't 100% understand what their beliefs are, so I'm not making any assumptions about them and thinking that I'm right and assuming that I know everything already about their religion and about their followers (that is called being narrow-minded).

You still have so much to learn.  You have much to learn about respect, people, love, compassion, and about loving yourself.  As much as I still love and care for you as a fellow human being, it breaks my heart that I can't be there for you anymore.  I thank God that the feelings are visibly fading, but there are still many times throughout just one day when I wish I could just reach out to you again.
