In general, because sinners sin. That's not an excuse to keep sinning, though.
But whenever I do sin nowadays, the guilt is tremendous and engulfing of my soul. It's terrible. I just want to hide away in some dark corner and never see the light again.
But I have to remember what Jesus did for me, and that usually helps me to move on and keeps me rooted in Him. I also have to trust the Holy Spirit to keep me from sinning. Faith is faith is faith.
One of the ten commandments that I have trouble keeping is honoring my father and mother. But how on Earth am I supposed to honor both of them when both of their wishes and commands contradict with one another?

Honoring your parents does not mean that you have to obey your parents necessarily. In ideal situations, your parents would be godly and know what is best for you. Sadly, there are times when your parents may ask of things that are good. For example, if your parents told you to do drugs or something really not good for you, you wouldn't do it. You basically should live in a manner that respects their reputation so that others can say, "wow, she grew up under the hand of great parents" even though it may not be true.
It would be nice if you could obey your parents. I think you should treat them with respect. (:
