I will wear sport shorts or whatever because those aren't actually that short. However, I seldom wear short shorts. The only time when I'll be wearing short shorts is when I'm going to be submerged into water or something (swimming/beach) or.... at home because they're comfortable to wear just not in public viewing.
Shorts aren't necessarily bad, but I've grown to become extremely uncomfortable wearing short shorts in public. If I'm not exercising or something, it makes myself feel over-exposed, and then I even feel uncomfortable around my own friends. Not that my friends who wear short shorts expose themselves too much, it's just that I myself feel uncomfortable wearing them. Also, many people are a lot more perverted than we think them to be, and I don't want anyone thinking of me in the wrong way or looking at me in a ... disgusting way.
Yeah. Or if all of my friends are wearing short shorts then of course I'm fine (which actually happened on Monday but I was the only person wearing jeans haha).
