So today in brit lit, I just want to point out that our classmates Mary and Shelley were absent today... and we're reading Frakenstein! Oooh~
But yeah it was basically a typical day at school.
The big thing today was going to De Anza with Sarah after school. It was definitely a different experience, and it felt a bit strange seeing these kinds of people just seconds away from my own home. The whole atmosphere was weird, but that's actually just the norm of the rest of America. Monta Vista's the one that's different.
But after this mini walk around with Sarah, I just felt really disappointed and empty. There's so much more out there in the world, yet here we are, for our whole lives sheltered in this little city of ours. We talked about our dreams of going abroad to study. And this just added on to the fire of my desire to study outside of this country [preferably London...]
And I need to start praying for all of us transfer students regarding this difficult priority styem.
