So this year the seniors tried really hard to win homecoming. For class participation we beat all the classes every time - and one time we got almost 60%! However, for the rally and quad decorations (instead of floats this year), we got 2nd place. Juniors won 1st place for both of those. What hit us really hard was the rally .. because we lost to the juniors by 1 point. A lot of people were really unhappy.. until at the homecoming game (MV vs Fremont, which we won) it was announced that the Seniors won homecoming overall. Everyone was really happy because of that. Later I found out that the seniors, no matter what year, always win homecoming overall no matter what. So that made everything less special but whatever. Yahni introduced me to this really cool girl named Alyssa (and btw I ran into an old friend Anyssa and they met XD) and it was lots of fun. Aaand I saw the cutest guy I've seen in the longest time LOL x]. Aand This other person pissed me off during the game but I can't even show my pissed face to her on Monday because I don't really have a right to since this person's so stupid. And later I went to Vicky's house who let me lend her dress for the Homecoming dance and she tried to help me find music stuff hehe so thanks a lot to Vicky! :]
And then TODAY (or.. yesterday which was almost two hours ago) was the dance! I slept like the whole day (basically) until 3:30 hehe. I was super tired for some reason. I slept at like 1:30 am ish the previous night.. woke up at 11:30, at lunch till 1:30 ish and then went back to take a nap.. until 3:30. And at 4:30 (or rather 4:45 since my sister was being dumb) I went to 狗拉屎's house to get ready for Homecoming with Sarah, Melanie, Jenny, and Catherine. Three MVs and Three middle colleges harhar. And then later all of us except Jenny went to Panera to eat our dinner except I'm poor so I didn't eat much. But dinner was nice and simple and Melanie was being real funny x]
Soo 7:10 ish we got to MV and just sat in 狗拉屎's car listening to music and watching Melanie dance while sitting down in her seatbelt and hit the car ceiling with her hands (buahahaha). When we got inside, people didn't start dancing until like an hour and a half later or something - everyone was just standing around for some reason.
The DJ sucked butt. He play barely any mainstream songs and most of the songs I just began to sway subconciously because I was so bored. Some random guy began freaking with Sarah without her permission (ish xp) and some guy asked me but I said no because I do not freak - -" and it was really gross because that guy knows my sister.
But honestly, I think this year's homecoming dance was the best dance that I've ever been to in high school so far. I've been to six, this dance being my sixth, and it was fun because I actually danced! No offense to the people I've went to dances with before - but dancing with them was really awkward because they wouldn't really do anything .__. they only waited for slow dancing or freaked and I've never freaked or slow danced haha. So yea today was fun especially when we shouted the black eyed peas song ;] . I'm just not very happy that the DJ didn't play a lot of mainstream songs. He played like five out of the whole three hours. Retarded. And my dress was kind of long, I admit, but I'm just thankful that Vicky lent me it in the first place.
Aaand I like being in a car full of teenagers ;] Makes me feel baad haha not really.. just like.. mature I guess?
Oh yeah and sorry I don't have any pictures. Too lazy to bring my fat camera along and bring it along with me all the time. Which brings me to the fact that lately I haven't been doing much photography..
Okay I really need to sleep now.
