I CAN ACTUALLY SAY 'I LOVE YOU, GOD' WITHOUT A DOUBT IN MY MIND NOW.
I would wear my I HEART JC shirt, except that it's too big for me @__@...
Atop from Friday's experience and Saturday's movie, Today's SUNDAY SERVICE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AS WELL~
It was the head of the church - and my mom talked about him often, because he is a swell speaker. I had never heard him talk before, and my mom always told me to come with her whenever he would go. I would often reject her, but never will I reject again.
His name is Reverand Kwan xD Pretty aged dude. But in that short, Cantonese body of his, is a "mature child of innocence", happily spreading the gospel. It was so joyful seeing him speak this morning - and I assure that EVERYONE in the audience was wide awake - probably no one even ever THOUGHT of sleeping. He loves God and this love shined throughout the sanctuary today. But yee, other than himself, I'd like to talk about the things he actually talked about.
So this morning, I decided to start over that ehh.. it's just a 'packet' of things to do everyday - like honor marraige (which I can't really do yet), respect your father and mother, and be content with what you have. And today, I pulled out "be content with what you have".
HA. And then today's sermon was about "Being content with what you have, and not complain about what you don't have" xD
So Reverand Kwan talked about how everytime he comes to church, he has to pass three intersections. And every Sunday, most of the time, the intersections are all green light, so he just zooms by. Whenever it's red light, he gets rather unhappy. But he can't drive, so he just stops and looks around him and thinks, hmm, what does God want me to do now? So he looks around and sees the electric wires, and sees birds perch upon them. And he was like, oh, how beautiful, they sit like how the Church choir stands (haha). And he says it's a very beautiful sight, and he would not have seen such a nice thing if there were no red light. Even though there is a red light, he gives thanks to God for all the green lights and thanks Him for the lessons learnt during the red lights.
And while some people are in their red lights, they need people in the green lights. I'd definitely say that I have been rather red light lately, and though my green light was not a physical person, a green light did shine, and I hope I can spread this light to others around me ^^;
Reverend Kwan also talked about a lot of other things but @__@ this will probably be the most memorable one anyway xD
Ohyea - - and he talked in Chinese, so they brought along a translator. But like, 95% of the English sanctuary knew enough Chinese to disregard the translator anyway xD But the translater did a pretty good job! :]
Siggh *O*
God, You are AMAZING.
I really hope I do go to Heaven to see you one day ^^-*
