MV Winter Concert!!

So hehe I obviously went for orchestra x] I've always been soo amazed a symphonies and orchestras and stuff - they just stir an unexplainable exitement within mee. The chorus was notbad, too. They performed a lot better than I thought they would - not so horrible as the debut peformance, haha. Two soloists caught my eye - ... but I am not allowed to disclose their names because I don't know them very well D: Let's just say, one is a junior that sat behind me in Chemsitry last year, and the other is a freshman (in CHAMBER ORCHESTRA! AMAZING!!) who is super super super super 厲害. They are BOTH in SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY YOUTH ORCHESTRA - one of the most presitgious youth orchestras in the WORLD. But even if I didin't know that, I still thought they were really talented anyway. Makes me regret about not joining orchestra freshman year... makes me regret it a LOT. And this really well-known (I think...) singer who sings European songs or whatever came to perform! :D Her name is Michela Macfarlane - who was also a graduate of Monta Vista a long time ago, pretty cool huh? She sings really well :]

But I am sooo in awe of [chamber] orchestra!! Omygosh.. like.. OMYGOSHHH @囗@ they are AMAZING!!!!. During the songs they were playing I was looking at the movements of how each person played each string instrument. And most of the violinists had their 'bow' hands rather stiffly.. not so stiff-stiff, like it's still pretty relaxed but held in the same place. However, just the junior soloist had his hands REEALLY relaxed - they were like swaying almost haha why do I notice these things x_______x...

But yea :[ It makes me want to do something active in a symphony like this... I'm going through this phase of wanting to audition for Chamber Orchestra.... :[ but I bet this will just go away...

I still like how my sight reading for violin is faster than my sight reading for piano, though x]

*sigh*
I love music.
There will still be music in Heaven, too! :D ... I think...
