I haven't been this contemplative for a while.

Well, I have, but haven't really thought of coming back to blogger to spill out my thoughts.

This past half year has really had me thinking about the importance of actually maintaining and nurturing relationships.  With my mother gone, I realize I genuinely do get lonely at times.  I used to use church as an excuse not to see the rest of my immediate family, but as important as church is to me, I realize that family is important too and that now I honestly understand why family is very important because no matter what, they really always are there for you no matter how cheesy that may sound.

Moving away from Cupertino along with suddenly having a boyfriend so nearby, I actually feel quite sad that I don't talk to my friends as often as I used to.  Granted, there are definitely friends I still keep up with.  I miss them all very much, and as I begin to venture into an actual university along with finding another part-time job, time will be slipping through my fingers even more.
