So I just went to visit the Don Edwards Refuge for myself just then... actually, I was trying to see if the directions I wrote down could bring me to the right destination because I have to escort myself and two other classmates there on Tuesday; and I got there pretty nicely.
But I have to say, that place is absolutely gorgeous. Amazing. Beautiful. Breathtaking. Especially since it was nearing the golden hour - and there were all these birds soaring in the air with a light ripple throughout the waters and the soft winds gently blowing on the smooth, green long grasses - it was just so magnificent and calming and tranquil and divine! On top of that, I was listening to Kari Jobe's version of "The More I Seek You" while driving through the area so I swear I almost cried just listening to it and seeing nature in all its splendor and glory. It was simply majestic, and a lovely reminder of my God.
I absolutely love nature. I just hope it stays sunny on Thursday so I can have the chance to take lots and lots of nice photographs.
