I think I'll deal with my identity in Christ first, because I seriously am losing sleep over this. Race/Ethnicity are very important to me too, but that is a lot more superficial when it comes to my religious beliefs. And who knows - maybe discovering and figuring out my identity in Christ will partially solve my ethnic identity as well.
But you see, as a Christian, there are many ways to define one's self. I am His child, I am His servant, I am His soldier, I am a follower, etc... Right now is probably just the initiation of soldier identity in Him - like I'm on a journey to a battlefield - I can see it and sense the enemy, but I haven't yet reached the front line and yet I'm already struggling. I'm standing my ground, surely but I guess with doubts. I can only get more spiritually combative from this point, anyway.
