medium format is my favourite kind of photography

The shallow depth of field is absolutely gorgeous, and that's why I'm trying to perfect how I execute the Brenizer Method.  Compiling it all together is easy but Photoshop essentially does all the blending for you, but having the angles and positioning right when you're first taking the photographs is actually pretty difficult.  But until the day I can afford a medium format camera, I will continue using the Brenizer/expansion method.  Film medium format cameras are actually quite cheap, ranging from $300 to $500, and if I had saved a bit more money when I bought my DSLR and instead waited and saved $300, I could have gotten a medium format camera instead of the one I have now (which is amazing, too).  But the best medium format cameras are ridiculously expensive.  The photography world-renowned Hasselblad cameras are five digits... they can range from $15,000 to $35,000.  I'd rather buy a violin, haha.  Kudos to me for having expensive hobbies.

Anyways, I'd like to share another artist!  This person on flickr has probably one of the best medium-format photostreams I've ever seen.  He uses something called the Pentax 6 x 7 and the film camera version & lens of that is actually quite cheap.   Here are some of my favourites (pretty much every single medium format photograph of his is a favourite of mine):

It's just odd because you don't see many girls talking about  and genuinely loving photography like I do.
