Yesterday, I checked out Valley Church's Women's Bible study. Because the college group took a sudden halt (I only had time to go once, anyways), someone in the worship team suggested that I try out the women's Bible study, so I agreed. I went yesterday and I felt really out of place. All the other women are at least twice my age, perhaps even three times my age. I heard that there would be a few young adults, but I think those young adults go to a different session. Nonetheless, the session I went to last night was filled with actual adults. I most likely won't go again.
But, being a people watcher and all, it was interesting observing the social setting in the midst of all these very mature people. Especially among the more 'senior' of the women, though they all don't know each other too well, I like how they immediately jump into conversations of more meaningful topics. I just couldn't relate to any of the family and kids stuff because I don't have much family here and I definitely don't have kids (at least I hope I don't?? haha). They've gone through a lot more in life and have very wise insights about many things, so I really liked that about last night. I just do wish the college group had more people attending it, though.
