I have to talk about it!
So first in the morning I played guitar for the worship team. Usually, they meet an hour earlier to do devotionals but I got there and then I had to go back home because I forgot my music sheets so I had to go home and ended up being super late. But at least I was in time for sound check and stuff. Still haven't really actually talked with any of the other worship team people. Don't know why the summer doesn't have any younger faces.
Then I went to watch The Amazing Spiderman with Yahni! Such a good movie!! I was mostly going gaga over the romance between Emma and Andrew, haha they are just the most adorable couple on Earth. People like Dark Knight more, but I don't know Dark Knight was kind of weird for me like I honestly like The Amazing Spiderman and The Avengers more, haha. More comedic and less dark.
So then we went from AMC 14 in Saratoga to Shoreline Park which should only take about 20 minutes but ended up taking more of an hour because Toby Keith was going to be performing at the Shoreline Ampitheatre and there were all these cowboy and cowgirl looking people walking the streets. So even before we asked who was performing, we knew it definitely had to be some heavy country
And then we talked a bunch and walked a bunch until the sun set and the sky was just absolutely gorgeous
and we ran into this astronomer from Baltimore, Maryland and just yapped away about his life and his travels and his job, haha. Strange guy but interesting, I guess.
So then we went to Saratoga downtown at night it's so pretty there at night. We went to the well-known "Big Basin Cafe" and got some empanadas(?) and hot chocolate and the hot chocolate even had some latte art!
It was pretty nice :) Very cultured place and such a lovely atmosphere. We were also supposed to play with glow sticks afterwards but it was getting late and we were both pretty tired so we just went home and called it a day.
But yes, it's been a very nice weekend so far :)
