Choosing between what I should study, and what I want to study... Lately I've realized that I really, really want to study linguistics, but I know I should study something business or economics or accounting related, for the sake of getting some money on hand first. Especially in my family situation, I feel like I really need to first get a legitimate job and then do whatever I want to do. But I honestly think it's more a waste if I go through college learning something that bores me.
I think about this because I have friends who could have been doing things in a math field, or in an engineering field and such, but instead they have pursued things like art and music. So why not me and languages (I don't have that much money...)
