I don't know what drew me to it, but it was hard to get my eyes off of it. I told Sarah that for a picture and a moment so still, I see so much movement. I just absolutely love the way the artist decided to have Jesus's little baby hands grab a hold of Mary's finger. I also love the way that despite what has been going in Joseph's head for all this time regarding Mary, in this snapshot in time he puts his arm around her and smiles lovingly at Baby Jesus.
Now when I look at it, it's just another Christmas painting but I donno last night was weird, haha. It was cool though.
Today's service at Valley Church was pretty phenomenal. Well the worship part was, anyways. They had this mini orchestra play and I became so nostalgic of being in large music group! I guess this music club is the best I can have for now. But ohmygoodness I would absolutely love it if I could perform in an Orchestra again. And perform well haha... And I really liked the atmosphere of the church today and it was just really nice and comfy and the pastor speaking today didn't really have a sermon message but more of a heart-to-heart talk with us.
Last year, Christmas didn't really mean much to me, but this year I feel like I genuinely want to celebrate the coming of Christ.... and then I have to go to Taiwan.
But I'm sure God has His reasons for this.. and I'm going to try to talk my mom into attending a church service in Taiwan because Christmas is on a freakin Sunday this year! It's rarely on Sundays!
