Wow so apparently I haven't written in a week and one major reason of that is because of my math final which turned out to be surprisingly not so bad, and also AP testing (studying!) I'm only taking one though, thank goodness, which is in like two days and yet I'm here practicing my cursive. So some things that happened this week: Math final was okay, Foothill orientation was horrible, I forgot to attend a Chamber Orchestra performance so now I have to make it up by designating a day of my time to sort a bunch of music (which I actually don't quite mind), and I also have to play something for the class. But I might be doing a duet with another pianist. If not, then I'm going to play my little, kiddie version of "The Swan" and make a fool of myself. Only two people in that class know how little experience I have as a pianist. And I don't really want anyone else in that class to know.
I've also been studying at the library this past weekend for Calculus, and I can't believe how blind I used to be. Those endless shelves of history, travel, comments on society, self-help books, wonderful novels, and reference books, how could anyone on Earth ever be bored again? There's so much anyone can know and get to learn!... or it could be that British Literature is starting to spark in me a passion for reading.
By the way, Osama Bin Laden was killed yesterday, and people in D.C. are like partying in the streets and whatnot. And then today Sarah and I talked a lot about religion and other "spiritual" creatures. But yeah she said that the most we can do as disciples of Christ is to actively preach the gospel and preach love, and then let God do the rest.
Another one of my friends turned 18 yesterday, and like two of my friends just got DSLR's. And here I am, my half birthday just passed and all I have is a mere point-and-shoot. But I'm at least thankful for that I guess. Just one and a half more days of studying and then my friends and I can finally have our "Tangled" marathon and I can start competing for spots on Flickr Explore again! And ditch day is and Senior ball is coming up as well!
