SO. I got there at 8:50 ish and I saw Andrea and her partner! Who was like really quiet the whole time. Her name is also Tiffany by the way haha :] And then I saw AMY! So I was like HI AMY WHAT ARE THOSE GIANT CARDBOARD THINGS YOU'RE HOLDING?! And she's like ohoho it's a surprise. AND THEN I SAW MING! SO I WAS LIKE YAYY HI MING. And I heard Andrea and her partner practice. And then the contest started!!! I was second to last to go up and sing it was so horrible waiting. Oh yeeah there are about 24 groups - but each 'group' had like 1-6 people.
So yeahh a few people went and then 狗拉屎 CAME! So I was like YAYYY. But she didn't get to hear me sing since I was like 2nd last loooooool. Sooo hmm. Ming and her partner Emily were first. Ming has the most adorable voice ever. And then Amy and her friend Jennifer went with their IPOD placards. And then Andrea and her partner went. And then a looong while later I WENT and I thought it was horrible I didn't like it I couldn't help smiling so much blahh.
But yeah I ran into a few old friends. This one girl I used to know was liiike kind of the joke of my Chinese class for a while... BUT SHE'S so pretty now like a doll and she sings really well and I think I kind of freaked her out but yeahhhhh :]
AND THERE WAS THIS REALLY CUTE FOBBY GUY but he's a junior and I'll feel pedo if I do anything but he was really cute and we locked eyes a few times KEKE.
And thennn Ming, Andrea, and I and theiir partners all went to 7-11 to get Taquitos.. but I actually just ate my own 3 pieces of bread that I prepared. Yeah this was the break between the first and second round. And then the results were posted for the 2nd round and I SAW ME so I was like YAY. And Ming and her partner made the 2nd round too so we were like YAY. soo yeeeah. there's like 24 groups and then only 15 groups make the 1st cut. So I made the first cut ^^;. And thennn we had to pick our numbering again and I WAS SECOND LAST TO GO UP AGAIN LOOOL. But SARAH made it in time to hear me sing haha. I had to sing a sad song about being in the rain blah blah so I had my rain jacket on and I made myself look really sad and made puppy eyes to the judges HAHA :]
OOH! And there was this Arabian girl! She was real interesting because of her costumes and I like her voice but she needs to sing louder @ @ but yeah.
AND there was this other girl with this really cute smile she looked like a frog but she looked so happy and she has a really nice voice as well :]
And then yeeeeeah. There was like a break. And the stupid winner from last year came and the old audio guy was being totally pedo towards her she's like in 8th grade. and then there was supposed to be only five finalists. So they called out five groups - and I didn't hear my name. So I told Sarah like aww, see? I didn't make it. But then there were also people I didn't understand why they didn't make it @ @... and THEN the MC said 3 more groups made it too and I was one of those people so YAY haha but I was toootally confused. So yeah there were 8 finalists but only the top 5 get moneyy.
And instead of being 2nd last I was SECOND TO GO UP! LOOL. But yeah I sang and smiled at the same time again cause it was a happy song so YEAH. And then 3rd was that Arabian girl who sang really high @ @... and then the FOURTH PERSON SANG THE SAME SONG AS MEEEE. But.. you'll see why I sang it better @ @.. hehe
Yeeeah and then Lydia came RIGHT after I sang LOL so she didn't get to hear me sing but don't worry, Lydia I feel kind of bad for not letting you hear so I'll make it up to you somehow xp. And then there was this really long time in between when they announced the winners. A break, and all the judges just blahblahblah ing. Sarah and I were being 狗拉屎s picking out our split ends :D LOL And we talked with Lydia and this WHOLE TIME THIS LIKE COCKY CREEPER DUDE KEPT STARING AT ME X_______X... and to avoid that I kept seeing if the cute guy was looking at me AND HE WAS KEKEKEKEKE. But yuck creepers T T
And thennnnnn here's the placing:
1. Some girl with a deep voice but it sounds nice - $120
2. Pretty classmate I haven't seen in a long time. - $100
3. Girl with froggy face/nice smile/nice voice. - $80
4. ME. - $60
5. Arabian girl @____@ -$40?
SO YEAH IT WAS FUN YAY I GOT MONEY :]
and another 林家 GOT IN THE TOP 5 muahaha I feel accomplished.

But though I was realy nervous, it was a lot less nerve-wracking that I thought so that's good.
I just kept telling myself to step out of my comfort zone and ahaha apparently it worked.
