Esref was born with a genetic mutation where he does not have any eyes, just empty eye sockets. He has never literally seen the world before. However, because of this, he has amazing senses in feeling (and probably some other "sixth sense", if you look at his other artworks). Without ever seeing art or the world, he can paint three dimensional objects, have artworks with a perspective (point of view thing), have artworks with nice composition, and paint objects in the distance.
He is living proof that we do not need eyes to see the world!
