I continue to be confused about the Bible and ask questions that evanesce into the air.
Anyways, the beginning of Mark, Chapter 14 is about some lady pouring perfume over Jesus right before He is about to get sacrificed. And then Jesus says, "She has done a beautiful thing to me... She poured perfume on my body to prepare me to be buried."
... sooooo how does pouring perfume over someone that's about to be killed prepare them for their own burial? @囗@ I don't get it... what's so significant?\
aaand You know what I noticed?
My own church didn't have much to do with my falling deeper in love with Christ..
Well, churches aren't there to make you fall in love with Christ, not necessarily, but to be there to serve Him others. But... is it bad that the more unworldly things I've learnt about Christ was not from church? At least I did discover those things...

Well, it isn't unusual to pour perfume on someone's feet during a meal, since they walk around on the really dusty ground, so they're feet will probably stink, you know?
But pouring perfume on someone's head is pretty unusual and is for something that the person will carry out concerning God's directions. For example, David was anointed by Samuel when he is told he is going to be the next king of Israel. Likewise, the perfume poured on Jesus is an anointing so he can go ahead and die on the cross.
and yes it is bad if you learn more unworldly things at church...
come to my church once (:
everyone is so in love with Jesus up to the point where they are undignified (like in the DAVID CROWDER BAND song haha) so its pretty free (:
o___o It's BAD?
>< Wait I mean like, unworldly like more Heavenly stuff and stuff that this world can't grasp :|
Like all I know about Jesus, I didn't really learn from church - -" Except the stories and miracles, but God is way more than stories and miracles.
