Warren tells us straight why we live in his very first line in his book - "It's not about you." - and a lot of times a lot of us forget that. I forget it a lot, seeing that yesterday I was getting all depressed over grades, SAT, and all that stuff. I agree that many of us are much more self-centered than we think we are, wanting to determine our own future, our own friends, our own looks, our own goals, our own purpose. I guess I needed to be constantly reminded that I didn't create me, God did, and only he can determine my purpose in this world. Colossians 1:16 says "It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose his working out in everything and everyone."
能知道我是屬於耶和華的，我就特別安心。我不必在意對我來說什麼是失敗什麼是成功，因為祂給我了比較大的purpose, 我只要有那個心去找出它是什麼，而把它 " live 出來" x]
