Laaaa this is why I have to go to church every Sunday x_________x.
Like I said to someone before, to refresh and renew my mind of 祂~~
Usually Reverand Chan's sermons are loooong boring and redundant. I've actually been trying really hard to pay attention during his sermons, and even praying about it, hoping that I would actually get something useful.
and HO!~ Today's was actually interesting... well at least the end was :[ haha 可是我不知道為什麼[或許我真的知道......., 阿腸 x________x]
But anyway, Rev. Chan uses a lot of metaphors, as most pastor/reverend people do. And he used this metaphor from a story of Alexander the Great.
Alexander sometimes was rather ruthless, if people did not fight for him, he would gather troops to hunt those people down and they would be brought to him to be executed. So one day Alexander heard about this one young man who wasn't "in action", thus he told troops to bring the man to him. When the young man was brought to him he was completely petrified (obviously, because he was going to be killed)(also today was the first time I heard "petrified" in a long time). However, for some reason, Alexander released the young man. Before the man left, Alexander asked him "Young man, what is your name?" And the man replied, "My name is the same as yours - Alexander". Alexander [the Great]'s response was :
"Before you leave this place, change who you are, or change your name."
haha second service's response was like o_____o whaat?
But yea it's basically that this young man brought shame to Alexander's name. (So much a name can do)
And tied it back to us being followers of Christ.
It's either we change who we are in Christ, or change our names to something other than followers of Christ.
Prettty deeep [to me anyway - -].
Yep and then I was hoping sign-ups for Baptism class would still be available, and they were! We had to sign up through our pastors, and there were none in sight when the sermon was over. And I wasn't sure if I could go ask Reverend Chan because he's a reverend, not a pastor x____________x but yea he asked for my name and email and hopefully I can attend the Baptism classes :D (why am I capitalizing Baptism x_____x).
Second service is so empty now D:
I WILL FINISH CHAPTER 12 AND 13 NOTES TODAY. 14 I will just read and take notes later :[ 加油加油.
Back to the days when we were so young and wild and free
Nothing else mattered other than you and me
So tell me why can't it be
Please let me live life my way
Why do you push me away
I don't want nobody nobody nobody nobody but chuu~~
heeheehee
I'm listening to soft piano songs a lot lately - -"

Do you say 'yoooth' or 'yoath'
I say yooth D:
D: Does 'Gosh' also mean 'God'? o____o
For some reason, I suddenly remember someone telling me that.
And when we say 'jeez' or 'sheesh' it's also another way of saying "Jesus"..
mann what do I say when I'm 驚訝 now? :[
x____x maybe I'll just go 'oooh' 'ahhh' or 哇塞 haahhaha
K goodbye for now.
