Um. Well, I think this post just might be a regular blog entry. There aren't any interesting current events I can search up. DontPanic's current issue is about food, and they have articles about eating disorders, starvation in third world countries, obesity, stuff like that. There was a series of breakfast photos which also looked quite cool. The only thing political that DontPanic has posted was about the truth of MPs in the UK Parliament and their requirement of ration books. These MPs actually have a ration book? I'm not sure if it's the real thing or just something sartorial.
Ah, second period. The infamous Summer Reading Test. I failed :] And so did the other 120 something students of Platt. It was hard, but at least we all know what to study for now. I hope all of us get used to Platt and her testing ways, soon. (Reeeeeeal soon).
Fourth period? Um... My math teacher sucks. Who the hell assigns homework without teaching the material first? I thought she requried us to buy notebooks for the sake of taking notes or doing homework (like what we actually are supposed to do with notebooks in a math class). The fact is, she wants us to write something reflective at the end of each unit. And she wants tables of contents in our binders?! Dude this is PRE CALCULUS, NOT AP US HISTORY.
Omygosh sixth period was a complete fail :[ I realized how much I suck at public speaking. We had to go up (in Japanese class) and introduce ourselves in a business-like manner. For some reason, I kept wanting to say something else, and kept pausing and "uhhh"-ing. I'm such a loner in that class. 1st period... is okay because everyone's a loner in there. 2nd period there's a few friends, 3rd period there's a very close friend of mine, 4th period is okay because of an old classmate, 5th period is probably the only class I'm not a complete loner in, and 6th period I'm like the only junior. But the seniors in my 6th period are cool so I sit with them.
Oh, and I also wanted to talk about College Board. AP testing was in May, and scores were sent out in July. My scores? Still not recieved in the mail yet. It's still "processing". Wow, is my test really that hard to grade? If they make me take another freakin $90 test then woot I'm going to pull my hair out. Or more realisticly just yell at them over the phone and maybe call someone near Princeton to get to their office and yell at them if they hang up on me.
And I think I'm going to reread the book of Revelations and prove to my sister that the world is not going to end her junior year in high school. Well actually I'm not so sure, I'm so influenced by the media that there was something about seven years of an antichrist and then Jesus comes [that reminds me of the Seven Year's War...]. I also just finally remembered what the pastor said last Sunday. But I still worry, because I have trouble believing the book of Genesis and the story of the Tower of Babel. Ugh, I really need to read that "Truth about Evolution" book. And I think it would be quite helpful if I found out what languages were suddenly created in the Babel event. What book of the Bible is that in, anyway?
